PowerGrid Technologies has been working in the software industry for over thirty years, and has been working with the Utility industry over the past seven years. For the Utility industry we have been designing and developing database management software solutions.
From our experience with the industry we have developed a unique software application designed specifically to address the need for a “REAL TIME” Thermal Ratings, Inventory and Planning System.
Custom Data Fields for Equipment Containers
Custom Data Fields have just been introduced in the latest version of the Thermal Ratings Suite Analyzer. With these custom data fields you can assign your own textual data values to equipment containers. These data fields are included in the MS Excel exports of the equipment associated with their containers.
For example, you can create your own “BES” data field and assign your own values to it when creating, or updating, an Equipment Container (i.e. Line Section).
Limiting Factor AND Secondary Limiting Factors ability
The Thermal Ratings Analyzer user interface and reports now contain both the Limiting Factors/Equipment as well as the Secondary (next) Limiting Factors/Equipment.
Line Segments within Line Sections
In our latest update to the Thermal Ratings Analyzer you can now manage multiple Line Segments within a single Line Section. This feature allows individual Line Segments to be managed and reported on, as well as reporting on all Line Segments within a parent Line Section. Limiting factors across all Line Segments, within a Line Section, can be easily determined by simply selecting the parent Line Section.
Online Thermal Ratings Calculator
PowerGrid Technologies is working on an online/web version of its Thermal Ratings Calculator for conductors. It will be very similar to the version of the Calculator that is part of the Thermal Ratings Suite.
A new module is being developed to allow you, with a click of a button, to generate a Temperature vs. Time curve from within the Thermal Ratings Analyzer for Overhead wire within a Line Section.
PowerGrid Technologies has just released the latest version of our Thermal Ratings Suite.
